Make sure u install the RO Clients , Cos the map server will read the file : sdata.grf and data.grf

In the grf file =)

it will also read the data folder. it's a good way to test that your files are correct before you make your custom GRF.

It doesn't read from the data folder. This feature has been broken for almost a full year now.

I suggest you get th elatest svn revisions 5326. and make sure all of your settings are correct. If this is W32 make sure the grf files.txt is pointed to C:\Program Files\Gravity\RO\sdata.grf
C:\Program Files\Gravity\RO\data.grf

However with the newer svn versions you can choose to load from a cache. what this means for W32 is you link to the GRF files and run ONLY th map server and the cache will be created. You can then not even worry about the grfs and in map_athena.conf change the reading from grf to cache.

it is hard to do this on *nix and if you ARE using *nix, I just suggest uploading the GRFs
