no because universities tend to not let you do the port forwarding you will need to do for a server

you also won't have access to it forever since you live on campus you obviously will be going home for breaks/between semesters

also when you get into anything but http you tend to lag like a witch on a uni connection

ALSO thats poop for a university connection i was getting 50-75Mb/s up and 100+Mb down on my crappy unis connection

also i got a 3gig ram/250gig hd/ quad core 2.8ghz ded server for the server aswell.

lol i was gonna get a .com anyway the reason i was happy with .tk for now was because i didn't really need to spend £20 on the domains + whois privacy until the server officially opened, thought id save the money until then. But obviously so many of you regard a .tk as "nooby" "unprofessional".. Based on that i guess i don't want something as simple as this to get in the way of my servers image / success.
