Laptop doesn't start.

So my Alienware m14x randomly shut down 1 day.. so i started it back up and scanned for virusses... no results and then it shut down again...

Now if I press the start button it beeps 4 times. My friend told me it was a hardware problem or something so can anyone help me?

4 beeps is almost always RAM issue, just try taking out all of your RAM and just test them out 1-at-a-time and it should start up eventually (extremely unlikely all sticks of RAM are faulty). The RAM which is causing the issue either leave it out or replace it through warranty or something.
