Mangos Merging compiled core with already existant DB

Hello,

I'm not really understanding how everything works but I've succesfully set up a server based on some kind of repack (using trinitycore). But since I wanted to change/modify/delete some code from the core I'm having difficulties to understand how to connect my new (custom) compiled core with the database that I got from the repack.

Is there any easy way to this?

There are only a handful of files left after the compilation and I'm not enough hacker to understand which files include what.
