My drive :S

Today i went to watch a dvd on my pc and it wouldent open like there was no power to it, i went up and opened my pc messed around with some sockets and got the power back but it doesent play dvds anymore just plays cd's/cd roms...
does anyone know how to fix this/what caused this??
the model is AOPEN DUW1608/ARR

Go to the manufactures site and see if you can find drivers. Install them and try again. If it doesn't work then it's dead.

Windows (since Win98SE if I remember correctly) already comes with drivers for DVD-ROM. Conclusion: Drive is dead.

For the lesser minded people.. that means take a small needle, or a thin paperclip, bend it straight, and insert it into the teeny round hole in the front of the CD bay.
