Possible Thread Bug?

I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it doesn't make any sense to me. It seems as if the first post gets truncated or something with popular threads. Here's some screenshots..

As you can see.. Those are the 'first' posts, but the content doesn't appear to be the first post.. Also, I don't see an edit tag on the bottom
