Repacking projectg500+.pak (Season 4.9)

- I'm using the hsreina unpacker for projectg500+.pak. It extracts just fine.

- I'm using some pangya US files to replace the ones in pangya th.

- To repack it, Im using the pak maker I found in this forums. and replacing the thai version of the pak file with the one obtained from the paking process.

Well, it doesn't work, maybe I'm not using doing it correctly but the game closes itself.

Note that the repacked file is smaller than the original.

I wish you can clarify this to me.

Well i haven't tried but will eventually come to your procedure, and there are theories in my mind;

1. Some folder's name are shown as encrypted which possibly korean language. Maybe need to switch OS language to korean and run the repak?

2. HSreina's unpaker maybe didn't fully extract all the file name correctly, because there are something that just doesn't make sense. Either by the Devs or Reina's unpaker (Lazy to explain)

3. I might want to try use the pakmaker to unpak and repak, coz seems what it extract might able to figure out how to repak. (Common sense)

Never ever repack the projectg500+.pak, always use the latest pak and insert files you want to replace into it (like UI graphics or translated string tables). Do not replace files like pangya_th.iff if you do not know what you're doing.

Please also keep in mind that the filenames and some of the UI files that are present in the Thai client are not available in the US client.

On a related note: Don't just copy over the English.dat and rename it to thailand.dat, that won't work either.

If you are using the latest hsreina unpacker, you will not have problems with files with korean name.

I just replaced bunch of TH graphic to US version on xx500+.pak, ran the repak replaced the orignal and the game launched fine, however without the server fix i cannot actually login to see if the effect works.

To OP: My pak file is larger then the orignal by 55MB. Just replace files.

But even so i'll keep mind to edit the latest pak file.

Nice! I just got it to work! I had to read the whole release topic to find out that you

have to wait to the packer to close itself.

I have managed to translate almost all the client using the US graphics just like your

captures.

It works well! I edited projectg500+.pak, projectg501th.pak, projectg502th.pak and some random paks I don't remeber right now.

yeah thats right.
i'm realizing the windows must close itself when accidentaly trying to repacking the small .pak files.

the windows close itself T_T

because of this i have wasted 10 hours of my life. *lol
