I'm not exactly super intelligent with firewalls and security.
Dad decided to put up a firewall on our router, affecting all of the computers on it. Before he put up the firewall I was able to get onto Maplestory while my computers firewall was active. With the router's firewall up I'm not able to log on. I click the Maplestory Icon on the desktop, log in, etc, it opens up the hackshield, the green bar loads, and then closes and nothing happens afterwards. It doesn't open up to the actual maplestory client login screen. I just get the typical firewall error. We did some research and unblocked a bunch of ports (a lot of them being things such as 8484 and 8080) and nothing just seemed to work. We can't figure out how to unblock JUST Maplestory. With all the suggested ports unblocked we can't seem to get it to work.
