There are three possible reasons.
1) FTP server isn't up
2) FTP account permission settings isn't correct
3) Type.txt in media.pk2 isn't set-up correctly.

How do i know if FTP is online:
Type into web browser

How to know if account permissions are set:
Open FTP server interface, and check account permissions under user or if you get an error when deleting/creating a file in FTP then your permissions are not set.

I also got the same error, but work.

If you open in browser with read only account strctur dir must be like this. Game client just need correct path and allow download the .crb file from ftp. Cause when creating guild emblem, game client not directly connect to ftp server for storing .bmp but relaying by server.

Hahaha sorry for my bad english, but I hope you understand what I mean

Re: [Guide] Setting up FTP with Guild Emblem

If (u use filezilla server) Then
try this...

1ST.

Make an account ADMIN put password
this account should be put in Server.cfg
(Ex. CREST_FTP_URL "ftp://admin:password@192.168.1.xxx/")
in shared folders add and locate the server folder not the crest folder
Ex. C:\SR_Server
check all in Files and Directories.

2ND.

Make an account PUBLIC no password
this account should be put in client Media.pk2 -> Type.txt
(Ex. MarkFTPAddr = "srcrest@gs01.sytes.net")
erase MarkFTPPath you dont that line anymore..
in shared folders add and locate the server folder not the crest folder
Ex. C:\SR_Server\CREST
check all in Files and Directories

DONE!

That is my settings and working good so far..

EndIf

Using this I have a new error 550 File not found

Re: [Guide] Setting up FTP with Guild Emblem

Edit:oh your using a dedi server well replace the wanip with your dedi's ip then.ok so try this replace wanip with the numbers you see at this site at the top tell me if that brings you to the sro_crest folder.this is what i mean by give ftp the directions to the SRO_CREST folder.
Aznkidd235 - Setting up FTP with Guild Emblem - RaGEZONE Forums
try this create a SRO_CREST at C:\ so it looks like thisC:\SRO_CREST\now make another sro_crest folder within it so it looks like thisC:\SRO_CREST\SRO_CREST\now follow the directions in the image above, but when navigating select only C:\SRO_CREST\Edit:is the FTP server being hosted on your pc or your deicated server? the FTP server needs to be installed on the dedicated server if your trying to access it like
daddy ip? xDDDD
