Lately I have been experiencing some sleep disorders... It's kind of a mix of Insomnia, Narcolepsy and I'd say 90% SP(sleep paralysis).

The fact that I (may) experience Narcolepsy during day time (I tend to fall asleep instantly at any time of the day, but usually around 1pm) was causing me to have some trouble falling asleep at night (potential "insomnia"..?), leading to experience SP every single night.
Sometimes I tend to get the grasp of it and not getting led by the hallucinations I hear/see (hiding monsters under the table, people I know screaming various things at me, high pitch voices screaming and laughing. Really fucked up poop), but when I do I can't fall asleep for another hour which really isn't helping my condition at all tbh.

I've come to this forum cause I've always found some satisfaction sharing problems with you guys in the past, some of you really have been supportive in many phases of my life and believe it or not, sometimes it helped me a lot, just the fact that some of you share your similar experience.

And that's what I hoped I'd benefit from here, any past experience from any user here that may share some tips and tricks to fight the disorder. I really don't want to consult a specialist for this.

You need to go to a doctor and have a PSG test done (forgot the full name) regardless of how much you don't want to. No one here will be able to provide you with any accurate information as this can be caused by many things.

Both my father and I went through this (him when he was in his 30's, me when I was 14) and we both have obstructive sleep apnea, which can cause effects similar to what you're seeing just from sleep deprivation. If you're getting shortness of breath any time during the night then this could definitely be it. There is also another type of apnea which is not obstructive, which means it doesn't prevent you from breathing at times during the night.

It has accurate information you should review that'll help determine if you have sleep apnea. If your symptoms are severely affecting your daily activities then you need to get checked out.

I'll definitely look into it if it gets any more serious. However last night, before sleeping (after writing this thread) I've read I could turn sleep paralysis into in a Lucid Dream intrigued me and didn't think it was really possible. Nevertheless, I've chose to give it a shot and as it turns out I was able to do so...

To anyone wondering how to do so, it's plain easy. Once you see the sleep paralysis kicking in, you need to be aware it's your mind playing tricks with you. What I've done, and seems to be the only way (for me), is to kick in some positive music. I have no idea why, but I went full dubstep which made me see some crazy stuff, but still awesome.

I remember floating all around my house, having the feeling of my face passing through walls slowly as if I was slipping into goo. I could literally do ANYTHING. I won't lie to you, I tried having sex with the perfect dream girl, but as I read before, you shouldn't do that cause it's going to wake you up, as basically you're gonna have sex with your very own brain... And from there, everything stopped.
