Trouble making a private server

Not sure if this is the place to post it, but I cant download SQL Server 2000, so I was wondering if I can use SQL Server 2005 to create a private server instead.

I think I need more instructions on what I'm supposed to do with this, I'm so confused and I just want to get my server up, so please please please someone with experience help me T_T Oh and also I've been getting an error when i try to attach the ToP server databases to my own(?) I'm not sure if I'm doing it right or not (is UBER noob at this)

Nevermind I installed SQL2000 on a different comp so that's solved lol
