Using a router which set all the IPs to my one 192.168.xxx.xxx which is all fine and i can get on the server from it, however i'm trying to get my brother online, made a new folder with data maps etc like normal mir.

I sent across the mir2.exe ... the 1.17mb one .... and mir.ini with the correct IPs in, but everytime he tries to connect he just gets connection closed.

I remember i think when doing a server before you needed to configure an exe specific to your server?

Found nothing else on the forums with the answer to this so help lol.

Thanks

What server files are you using?
If using td's you need

mir2.ini with the following
[Setup]
FontName=MS Sans Serif
ForceAddr=1
ServerCount=1

[Positions]
Left=0
Top=0
[Option]
SkillSetting=0
Sound=1
ShowAllItem=1
EffectSetting=1
ShowSkillBar=0

and Servers.ini with your server info inside
[Server1]
ServerName=your server name
ServerAddr=external ip
ServerPort=7000
SelectServerAddr=external ip
SelectServerPort=7100
GameServerAddr=external ip
GameServerPort=7200
