Hi ,
To Add Effect To a Npc or Character ,
1st u need to know from where u can get the effects .
We take the effects From Monster , like that :
1- open Config.pk then macro.dat (client side)
2- Look at Monster Info , at the end of each Monsterinfo line u will find the effect
"Note: some Monsters have effect and some not" u will find the effect like that "look at the screen shot" :



And here is some effects :

now to add the effects ,we do that :
1- If u want to add the effect to NPC just copy the effect then go to "Config.pk / macro.dat "
go to npcinfo and choose the npc u want , then paste the effect at the end of line like that:

do same if u want to add effect to Character

what about the mobs that have effects but arent in macro.dat (like emok monsters, FoE, top, ...)

You forgot to mention some effects are specified in the bone .GB file!

great that someone made a guide for it after all this time^^

but you should add a full effect list if possible...

so how did you figure out that 2.0.0 -1.5 0.0 = Head? i want to know the numbers for

hands and feet anyone pleasE?

but yea that is what u need ,u just need to test :thumbup1:
or just use my repak and u will se effects on players objects ,tree,grass,sky ^^...

what about the mobs that have effects but arent in macro.dat (like emok monsters, FoE, top, ...)

You forgot to mention some effects are specified in the bone .GB file!

Then thats how you put the BOF effects on armor?

no no no!

you would be putting effects on the character's bones if you did that, meaning every character of that class has the specified effect... what you need to do is make it either triggered by the armor or actually on the armor
