coppy the gb
open 1 with swordcrypt key 04
rename save
open both in hexediter
paste the hex from the modified over the top of the original and rename at bottom
do not add or delete any byte's just replace the bit at the top

thats what the guide says

but it dose not tell you that...

on some gb files when you open them in hexediter after changing the name in swordcrypt ,
,, you will find an extra byte usualy 6th in on top line (looking at hex side) byte hex value E4
remove it befor you coppy the modifiied into the original
or as it has been said befor ,,, just hex edit it

then it will work

you might find different when editing another gb butt it was like that on a few i did

But i got one problem..

When i added new "Dragon of Sky Weapons" to my server i didn't want them to replace old g65 weapons.
So i decided to use this guide and rename the new .gb files.
I did everythin' like its said here and succeeded, but problem is that the textures i see in game are from g65 sword.

(.gb and.gtx files are in right places, and for right item, so problem not here)

have you olso change the GTX names because they have the same 1 so make sure you change this names olso and olso in hex

when i open .gtx file with swordcrypt i get

whaaaat?

rename the gtx/dds (right click , rename)
rename the gb, open the gb with hex edit , do what the guide said to do at top of file,
and at the bottom on the text side in hex editor (looking at the gb)
, you will see the filename(s) of the gtx, change them there to your new gtx name, so the gb calls for the correct gtx,
