[v83] How can I test my characters?

Hey folks, new here.

I'd like to test the characters i make changes to, for example if i change Night Lord's skills i want to see that it works properly(basically QA if you will).
Is there any quick way to do it? obviously i don't want to manually level all the characters i test(even if it's 1000x exp) because i still have to job advance 4 times for each character and it's time consuming.
I tried updating a character's level, skills and all that stuff in the "character" table in SQL, but it didn't work - i couldn't run the client, seems like it doesn't accept artificial info for some reason.

But anyway, would love if anyone could help me.

You can use the commands that come with the source.
In your account SQL tab, make the 'GM' level like 4 and you should be able to access everything like !level, !job etc.. etc...
