Volcano eruption in Japan!

Whilst browsing around Yahoo Answers, I noticed the recent news box and saw volcano eruption, clicked it and came to find out that the Sakurajima volcano erupted yesterday, spewing ash 3 miles into the air and coating a nearby Japanese town 'Kagoshima' in ash.

Amazingly enough, there is plenty of raw footage of the eruption.

Glad not too many people got hurt, could've been much much much worse.

What can I say. Japan is the unlucky-est country on earth. They had every catastrophy going at them that you can imagine (earth quakes , powerplant explosion , atomic bombing , tsunami , volcano) , and yet they are still strong , and re-build , and start over , and live! All the respect to them!

It's really sad to see another natural disaster in japan but this one was really not that bad then the other disasters that happened in the recent years . I have read that no deaths have fallen and I hope it's stays that way.

The weird part about this is I just have finished a volcano disaster movie marathon

If they can handle Godzilla and his buddies then they can handle anything lol.

On a serious note, I am glad that no one was hurt. As has been said already, this could've been a whole lot worse than it was.

Interesting article. They really luckied out on this one, the damages could have been far worse.
