Whats a good EXP rate for a blizz like server?

I need some data on what a good Rate would be, not an instant 70 not an instant 10 just a little higher than normal to get people into the game a little faster ,to enjoy an out of World of Warcraft Retail Experience. If possible id also like a Drop rate to match, so they may get the gear with the levels.

hmm, ive been checking on other things, how does a 5x EXP rate and a 5x Drop rate sound?

I've played on a few blizz-like servers, some ranging from 1x to 10x I found that the best are about 5x-7x xp.
