Windows 8.1 and v117.2 compatibility

So some of y'all probably already know this, but theirs not a lot of information out there on the supposed non compatibility between v117.2 and the recent windows 8.1 update. Basically if you want to play a v117 server you cannot upgrade to windows 8.1 as it causes the launcher to load up but after you click start it just closes itself.

I've been playing on 8.1 pro 64-bit. Set Maplestory.exe to "run as Administrator" "Compatibility mode" for "XP SP3" and "disable display scaling on high dpi" For good measure always run the redirectors as admin too. If your window resizes, it usually means its firing up.
