Run kal in VMware or Vbox with a Windows 7 Installation...

not really hotshot, and especially not for kalonline which is 12 years old game...

Keep in mind this article was written in 2012, and we're now in 2014. M$ft has released a bucketload of Hotfixes in that time. Also if you have a low spec PC then windows 8 is better for RAM management and usage, aswell as lower and better CPU usage.

performance is better for just less than 10% for win8, It certainly isn’t fast enough to actually change real-world gameplay settings.

its okay, Avenger Kal just use the wrong Updater
