You'll find several internet bullies on here. There's plenty of people with a self esteem greater than the mass of a 40ft whale.

It's quite shocking tbh, yes it is partially the parents' fault for not monitoring the kid's internet usage but it's morely the fault of the bullies. So what if you're different?

You need to be stupid to do that, or still its sad xd

You can't blame the parents for not monitoring his net usage lol. But what they should have done was beat some sense into him 2 make him step outside and enjoy himself. Then again it ain't safe outside either ( as ppl say, doesnt seem too bad to me lol ).

but as commented before, commiting suicide is not the way forward, and why he did it over some internet 'bullying' is, in my mind, completely pointless.

That'll teach him to express his individuality through conformist means.

The kid wasa obviously suffering from some type of mental disorder (serious).

Idk, sad though.

This is rather sad, and disturbing at the same time.

My opinions:

I can understand why someone would want to kill themselves. I'd imagine that there would be other things, besides that... especially if a social networking site, or forum is important... if it is his only contact with the outside world, or to other people, for example, it is very easy for me to understand why what someone online says to you... although this isn't the case for everyone, but I can understand why it may upset him so much.

I can relate to feeling bad about having mean things said to me online, for some, if all of your good friends are those online, it is easy for me to understand how upsetting this is.

When it says that he was bullied all the time at school, it may be possible that he doesn't have any friends there -- so, online communication with different people... may just be his way of having some friends...

It is extremely sad that this has happened - but online bullying happens every day. This, also, isn't the first time that something like this has happened. I remember, a while back, a girl killed herself, her family saying it had something to do with myspace.

I, myself, get upset when someone online, someone that I like, am friendly with... what ever, is saying very rude things, tries to make me upset... but what I find the difference between an online friendship or problem, and a "real life" problem or such, is that if its online... you can just shut off your computer, and postpone the issue... or block them.

I really don't know how to express my views on this, but I just find this sad. It is sad that he didn't tell someone, his parent, a doctor, school counselor, who ever... about what was going on. That way, at least someone would know. I just find it sad that it was so unexpected, apparently. He should have talked to someone, just to let them know.

There should be consequences for those guys that harassed him like that...

It's sad that he died, it's pathetic that he did it for that reason.
