what they did have was a series of extremely accurate calenders (amongst other things)

however it is widely accepted they they were handed down to them by an even earlier civilization, the Olmecs and perhaps even from a civ predating even them

people need to understand that the mayans etc did not say "on this day at this time precisely this will happen" they did however have calanders that measuered the time between great events and when they all came back into line after a "long count" shit was supposed to go down each time

the fascinating thing is that paired with their massive knowledge that no one really knows where they got it from there are other peoples from around the world who have their own tools for measurement (calanders etc) that all point to the same thing - shit is going down in 2012

Well I say that the way we treat our world something is gonna happen i mean we are taking out Oil,Coal,and alot more and what goes back in?nothing my family believes that the world is trying to fix its self by all the hurricanes and tornadoes and yes some day something will happen to the earth we just dont know what it is and how its gonna happen i think we are gonna move out of the life barrier that the sun gives us just like what happened to mars...Even if we had to stop everything like globalwarmin(we wont)and stuff we will still die coz of the life barrier of the sun so..we screwed anyways xD

i dont think this would happen like it did in this video because of Jupoter's Gravity it has saved us 10000000000000000 times it pulls in most of the Asteroids that head for us so...i am not saying it wont happen but like alot of small ones or a few very large ones maybe but not 1000000 of them hitting earth at once lol and we get hit by alot of Asteroids but we dont see them coz they burn down because of the friction :P

well,
if this is really going to happen(so the world ends) i hope it will be quick and easy xD so no suffering. however, the theory of the Asteroids isn't real.
i mean the dinosaurs were to stupid to survive it. we have nucliar bombs etc. so if there will be asteroids we will be save because the goverment will save us(i hope).

and about the goverment i think they know a lot more then we do.
i have seen some youtube vids(could be fake ofcourse but i dont really think it is fake) that the goverment has alot of secret research going.

but if we are really supose to die just like the dinosaurs there hopefully comes new beeings on this earth and retry destroying the earth like we all do. :)
