I don't think something so massive that isn't tangible can be taken down in a matter of few years... Then again, it could be possible (like real empires). But look at the Great Depression; I bet the people back then thought that it would be the end for them just because the economy crashed due to too much manufacturing. But then again, nothing really bad happened except for the increase in the hobos in the streets, and a big lesson learned by the countries that suffered from it.
There might be some restrictions on the "Internet," but it won't be like completely restricted. But if restrictions do come to be true, I hope CP,animal abuse, and human violence are the first things that get taken off :x Those are just my 2cents :(

IMO, I highly doubt ANY of these shit rumors are going to occur. for instance, the doomsday mayan calender thing, yeah i believe that there arent any CLEAR scientific evidence that this thing would be true. And the end of the internet, i doubt it because it is too popular around the world

Their plan is a way to turn the internet into a more regulated system similar to television , while the whole concept is bad for internet freedom people will still have the option of visiting sites like RaGEZONE the difference is that the sites will run much slower.
Don't get me wrong action should be taken against this but the real threat is going to come when they pass a law requiring all web masters to be registered and have a licence, don't think it will happen? Just look at the history of the news paper, radio and television. If that happens then we really won't have any unregulated freedom of information.
