    I was transferring from a laptop to my hard drives data drive using a cat5 cable. At times it goes at 25MB/s but then when it comes up to show 'File is missing' and i click 'Try again' it then goes all funky and just fuck up like it shows in my attachment. Even though it says '49,000 days' it completed in 20minutes. It's just weird old vista.

    My laptop has 1.6ghz processer, 3gb ram where as my tower has 2.3ghz processer and 3gb ram. I don't see why they are so slow :\

    Need more ram on my tower anyways, maybe try aim for 3ghz to without breaking my cpu.
