Video down, anyone re-up to see what the fuss is about? can't find any footage so i don't know how bad it is - if it's as bad as the media over here is making it out to be, then it sounds pretty awful, but still, would like to judge for myself.
YouTube blamed for kid’s bullying
The parents of a teen who suffered a horrific beating from six other teens are blaming websites like MySpace and YouTube for allowing videos of such attacks to be broadcast on their sites. Six other teens beat up 16-year-old Victoria Lindsay on March 30, recorded it, and threatened to post the video on the two top visited sites. Lindsay has still not fully recovered her hearing and sight a week after the videotaped beating after telling coppers that the girls threatened to post the video of the beating on MySpace and YouTube.
The Plod have found the video and it did show Lindsay being severely beaten, unable to escape. Ironically the video never made it to YouTube, but it was run by the Orlando Sentinel’s Web site as part of its ‘legitimate’ news coverage. YouTube pointed out that once a video was complained about it was taken down. Unfortunately it does not know what is in the video when the user uploads it. That would require mind reading skills. The terms and conditions of the site forbid such content being uploaded. MySpace has a dedicated content review team that examines every video and image before they are posted to ensure that users do not violate the terms of use, the employee said.

It wasn't random. Apparently the victim had posted something offensive on her Myspace page and the girls took offense to it. So they planned to lure her to one of the girls' grandmother's house and video tape themselves beating the shit out of her. They planned to embarrass her as much as the victim apparently embarrassed them with the comment she posted on Myspace. But, they went way too far and they don't even care. One of the girls was quoted saying to one the the police detectives, "Am I going to get to go to cheerleading practice tomorrow?" Clearly they thought that what they did wasn't bad. Fucking pathetic. If I was that girl's father I wouldn't stop until every single one of the people involved in that was thrown in jail.Quote:

Anyways, I just can't believe this girl talked shit about them on myspace & then happily goes around there house without having the idea they might be pissed off.
