My question is, why DVDs? They aren't the cheapest form of spreading info, and what would they provide? Right now you are saying that they would have info on them that could also be found on the website.
Why not just hand out cards to the link to the site? There are plenty of sites out there already that share ideas, but none of them went around handing out copies of their site's content on DVDs.
I just don't see the DVDs providing any benefits. At first I thought you were planning on spreading ideas to people less fortunate who wouldn't be able to find the info normally on the internet, but the disks would require a computer anyways (Who has a computer and no way of accessing the internet?). You won't be reaching anyone new with this.
And a side note: What makes you better than all the other forms of media? You are just 1 person with his own ideas. What make yours more credible than anyone elses? All the info you got was received from someone else. Unless you plan on running your own surveys and tests, you won't be coming up with anything that someone hasn't already thought of and had printed in some sort of media.
