The GOVERNMENT doesn't have some super-genius computer engineer crafting these viruses. I've got CA's e-Trust Anti-virus and I can pretty much guarantee it'd find anything the website put on my computer.

If this threat was not real it would not have been changed. The only reason it was changed is because Beck covered it on a show.
Whether or not you hate him, you have to give him kudos for that. He changed a very real threat, or at least he proved the government is trying to reword it to hide the threat better.
