take the battery out and try to use the hair dryer. just don't put it too close to the phone ;)
if you were fast enough it should be ok...
2-3 days if you leave it somewhere warm...like a windowsill
or as wloc said use a hair drier on it for a while.

I wouldn't use a hairdryer just to be safe. Leave it for a few days then try.
Make sure to put in the charger when you try it aswell, the battery will be completely empty.

Brother dropped his phone in the sink a month after getting it. still doesn't work right :P

It does, hence why i said the battery is completely empty. That said Rishwin said, it's just a battery, these are hardly strong enough to kill you or anything, though if you are in the water at the time then you will get a nice spark. ;)
Anyway i have seen phones survive washing machines, sinks (so completely surrounded with water) etc, while sometimes simple things can destroy it.
Really depends if you're lucky or not. As for water damage to the screen, sometimes it fixes itself, i know someone and her screen was messed up, but like 2 weeks later it was pretty normal again, and i believe that a few months later is was 100% normal again.

my k7501 has been dropped, thrown, stepped on, spilt on and allsort of other things and it still works pretty well after a yea.
yeah its working now hehe
just the screen is still a bit wet, as the colours are a bit fucked, gonna leave it for a bit longer though, i have a different phone to use atm so its all cool :)
