Nice one Kaoii, your options don't express my opinion. :1:
- How do you believe new moderators should be found?
How? Well first off it depends on the situation. The head mods of the section should always be scouting for possible mods. Once they find one then they should recomend it to a super who will then futher decide if it's good or not. Once a super agrees then he/she needs to propose it to the rest of the supers in which we should take a vote on it. If a section is in desperete need of a mod then the supers are to ask the current mods if they wish to take up the section and if none wants to then we are to scout for possible mods or do it ourselves.- Someone sends you a private message that only contins flames agasint yo. How do you respond?
It depends on the user. If it's some random noob then I'll issue them a verbal warning to stop in a polite collective mannor and if they do not heed to the warning then I'll issue an infraction. If it's a user that knows better then they will be infracted.- A new section has just appeared. It instantly becomes the most active section on the forum and there is no moderation and no rules, resulting in chaos. What do you do?
What would I do? First off I'll tend to the section and clean it up according to the general forum rules. Then I create rules that are needed for the section based on the current situation. After that I will tend to the section while requesting other mods to help and/or looking for potential mods in that section.- SOmeone has joined the forum using a name similar to yours that is quite abvious they are trying to pass themselves off as you. What do you do?
I check their IP address against all of the other users on the forum. And find if it matches another user. If it doesn't then I'll leave the user alone but if it does match then I'll take up actions agasint the person based on who they are. If it's a person that I know is doing it for a joke then I'll ban them as a joke back. If it's a person that I know is doing it for the spite of things then I'll ban their primary account and give them a message on the new account that is copying mine. After a day I will also ban that account.- You are head super moderator. A super moderator has a personal grudge against you that has finally gone too far. What do you do?
I'll contact them to see what is their problem and try to resolve things. If they cannot then I'll assesst their activity level and then issuge a vote to have them demodded if they are not up to expectations.- Once someone has been domodded, their reputation on the staff is scarred and they should not be allowed back.
All depends on why they were demodded. If a person leaves because it's their time to go or they have matters in real life to tend to then they are welcomed back. If they are demodded because of abuse then they will most likly be banned anyways. Each case is different and should be treated differently.- The forum's private servers have begun to fail. However, a new private server opportunity has just appeared. If you are the person who decides whether to bring in the new server, what do you decide?
Yet again it depends on the situation. If it's person who is already hosting a failing server and wishes to host another then the answer would be no. If it's a person who I cannot trust to keep up to my standards then I'll tell them to run it for a period of time to prove it to me before I decide. If its a person who already has a server running and is successful then I might consider it.- A spammer has started spamming the entire board with advertisments to his competing forum. How do you respond?
This one actually has an answer that applies to me! Delete the advertisments and isssue a permanent ban.- Two moderators are in a very intense fight in the staff forum. What do you do?
Depends on how big of a fight is it. If it's nothing big like a debate on their opinions on how things need to be done I'll let them fight it out. If it's a hard core flame war then I'll read it all and assesst what the hell is happening and then stop the agrument. I'll warn who ever I think is wrong and if it's both of them then they both will be warned. If it's a matter of abuse then it will be based on who bad the case was and the offending mods might be removed.- Your friend has just violated a major rule on the forum for a second time. You warned him the first time, what do you do now?
Well umm... My friends wouldn't be in that situation because they all know better. Still they will most likely be banned until they are able to cool down or infracted if it's not that bad.- The moderating team and the super moderating team are both equal.
They cannot be compared. They server two different roles.- I believe new mods should be required to memorize both the forum and moderator rules before they make any type of moderator action.
Umm... They should already know the forum rules before even becomming a moderator. Furthermore they are also expected to know the moderator rules as they are judged by them and not just those two sets of rules but also the section specific rules that they are active in.- How do you believe a new super moderators should be found?
Well mods first need to be appointed to a Senior Mod position to test their leadership abilities. Then over time they are added to more clusters. Once they are able to carry out the role of being a senior mod of the entire forum they. After that they are reviewed by the supers. If a super feels that they are ready then they will nominate the senior and the RZ Council takes a vote on it.- How do you believe a new head super moderators should be found?
Voted in by the RZ council. Simple as that. The number will be reflected based on the number of mods we have on the forum with a min of 2.- I believe that instead of using existing moderators for unmoderated sections, we should find new moderators for them.
Nearly all the unmoderated sections are near dead sections. They do not need mods at all. Supers and Senior mods are responsible for them.
There... Now pick one!
Though you forgot to address general moding sections. This is just basic forum management tasks for supers. Which for most of us the answer is in the grey area. :1:
If it's about general modding then you'll find me to be very elitest in that sense.
NoPeace - out
Got half way and gave up. Most do not depict real actions that should be taken, while others are a matter of wording or just preference which do not influence someones believes or actions at all.
My Result: Neutralist

I've changed a few things on just about every question based on suggestions from FragFrog and NoPeace. Any more suggestions to add to theirs are more than welcome, because I can only write this test based on my perspective!
I'm a neutralist but it says:
Even tough I chose to ban the advertiser and force the rules over a new section...w/eQuote:

You are a very to-the-point moderator. You don't take crap from anyone. You are on the forum to do a job - to keep it running smoothly - and you do it well. You do not understand why the Neutralists disagree with you so often, and many times you probably ignore them. Members tend to pop off at you more than other moderators, but you are quick to silence them. You are constantly churning plans for efficiency in your mind and are quick to shoot down and denounce plans that you think would slow progress. When there is a staff conflict, after getting the facts you quickly take a side and express your point believing that ultimate justice will in the end be served.
Oh snap!
This was a better idea than I thought at first. =)
This was a great idea. how dare you not think so at first! :P
I'm sorry :(
You better be! bend over!
All i say its despise i not agree with certai questions , but Kaoii knows about it :P , it was correct the result me and Fraggie Got :P
We're the most Stable ones
Ps: Lee Cheated :P and i bet nopeace got Very Elitist :P ( thats why he didnt posted :P )
What type of forum moderator are you?
My Result: Centralist
You hold beliefs of both the Neutralist and Elitist ideologies. You don't believe the staff should be too small or too large, and you probably feel it should simply be at a healthy medium. You get in the occasional staff conflict and occasionally you have a member pop off at you, but you know how to deal with these problems because they are a usual thing. You are friends with most of those on the staff, but at times may have trouble taking a side if you choose to in a conflict.
Centralists are just confused people who don't know what they want.
Liar, liar, pants on fire
I guess you've got a good point Kaoii, it's just a test and other people are bound to have a different view on matters. Glad to see you make a revision, let me know when it's done :icon6:
Still, I must say the results are much like I expected - especially for Madison, myself, Akaruz and Excy. I'd have thought Negata to be a centralist though :eh:
