    Any advice?

With summer coming up I've decided to lose a few pounds, and I was just wondering if anyone had some tips to lose weight and get muscles and etc. Like what to eat, what you should do, like one excercise one day and another one the other day to let your body rest and just stuff like that.
    Any advice would be appriciated.

    1) Go outside, play basketball or football with friends.
    2) Try to do jogging ~daily at evenings, if you are staying behind computer whole day.
    3) Eat fruits, drink water.

Yes, dont eat CRAP but make sure you still eat.

if you deprive yourself of decent meals the next time you do get one, your body will hold onto the fat not sure when it will eat next.

So eat small portions of good food 3 times a day, maybe even 4-5 if they're really small and you really wanna boost your metabolism

find a form of exercise you will enjoy. join a local sports club or train on your own, do you have any friends that work out? Having a training partner or a group of friends to train with helps a lot with motivation.

Well.. I live far away from a major city so a local sportclub is hard to find, but I know one that I could join. And not many of my friends live in this little town, so that would be hard too. But I'm gonna try to keep myself motivated and if I need more motivation I know my mum will be there for me.

damn thats a lot more wrap than you need.

DONT procrastinate. Dedication is the most important thing. You could get all the knowledge in the world and try it out for a couple of days but you will never get anywhere. You gotta stick to it.

This will probably be a doublepost unless someone is in before me.
    But anyways..
So I should aim for high protein and low fat?
    And carbs are fat or..?
I'm not that into biology at the moment..

    Re: Any advice?

it's good for me maybe not for you. Its spiced chicken breast I decided, I made two wraps and allot of chicken. It had around 60g of carbs which is slightly more than I'll generally have per meal but I aint had much carbohydrates today therefore I aint too concerned. Carbs = Energy and because I train allot i need allot of carbs.

Top tip, if your body requires fuel, then feed it.

And trust me man, working out fucking sucks. I dont know whats wrong with everyone on here who seem to love doing it, but I just do it cause I have to. If I could eat whatever I want and still retain my body, I would never lift again.

    Re: Any advice?

It really depends on what your diet already exists of, and yes you want low-ISH fat you don't want to just cut out fat because again, then it's like when you dont eat once your body finally gets fat BAM it stores it and you get a lil' chubbs.

You really just want to balance it all tbh, and stay on the lower end of the carbs. Carbs are your grains and such, again dont just cut them out beacuse that has it's downsides too.

It's all about balance. Try and eat things like chicken salads, stirfrys with lean beef, etc. just meals that are smallish and cover all the food/nutritions you will need.

:] I used to be like 230lbs a few years ago.

So before or after training I should get carbs?

Okay so.. I need fat but in small amounts, and lots and lots of sallads are good.
And when I eat I don't eat alot?
Should I aim for eating 6 small meals or 3 medium..? ( something like that )

Oh and just a heads up so you don't get confused, so far Dans(MentaL)' tips have been for building muscle and such, training. I've been giving you ways to loose weight TOTALLY different things haha, if you eat and such like he does and your not really training hard you wont loose much weight at all.

I love watching my body transform and my strength go up. I sadly cannot eat what I want without repercussion and due to the amount I eat I need to train allot. I now do 5 days per week 2 hours a time 10 hours a week 40 hours a month and I'm fucked allot of the time, hehe.
