Still not sure what i will get though, that 1 is nice, but this is nicer http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2007/..._470x359,0.jpg
Disadvantages are the price and size, advantages are quality and zoom.
Well i ended up buying a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8, will also be buying a 8GB SDHC card for it.

YouTube - Testing out my camera on our cat
The 3 pictures outside were taken at night, so it was pretty much completely dark. Obviously i had to put up my shutter time, so it took 8 seconds to make the picture, which is also why you see the trail of light on the road, that's a car that drove by while i took the picture (intentionally). It also has to stand stable while taking the picture, if you were to hold it in your hands then you would probably get a messed up picture.
I'm runnign with a Canon Powershot S5 IS.. takes remarkable photos in low light conditions (I just used it this last 2 weeks ago to document some audio visual lighting and setup in a low light ballroom) and it ran me right around $400 US dollars
Video is great as well.. I recorded this with it: YouTube - 2001 Ford Ranger 4.0L 6C, 2.5" Flowmaster Dual StraightBack A shot of my truck and the new exhaust I had done on it a few months back
