agreed neosparky, running as fast as the server is running? your mixing up system lag with network lag, systemlag depends on the speed of the cpu/FSB/RAM/CAS Latency/HardDisk FileSystem Slack, Space, Defragmentation/IRQ Steering/PCI Bus CPU Leeching/SwapFile/Disk Access/IDE array/System Load/OS hell i think thats about it im sure i missed some somewhere and network lag is quite simple, im on 1mbit cable i am limited by upload speed its about 260kbit upload (30kb/sec) will also have system lag if their is a crap mongen table generating errors, 2 meny mobs maps etc
what are the specs of the proposed host machine may i ask?

well he can feel free to host ive said before on a post somewhere about here in this thread "if i dont have a mir2 server running by the end of april (friday oh thats today) then i wont be hosting
