Anyone heard of 'Project Rainbow'

I wondered if anyone have heard of, or even better USED 'Project Rainbow'

if you dont know what it is please ignore post and i appologise for wasting your time,
otherwise, can you post what speed you get on generating Hashes (MD5 or SHA1 specifically) and what spec of comp you have

its a value comparer, used as a password/hash cracker/matcher

it basically generates the hashes it wants to match before it starts to match them, therefore reducing the time required to crack hashes, however it takes too long in my opinion, so i'm re-writing it.
