of course not! If you grow up playing games, you grow old playing games, that's what I think. at least I started playing games, and never saw any other real hobby unlike it so I stuck with it

    i voted "yes".

i think the true answer really varies depending on the type of person you are. i mean, i know of some kids' parents who play mu global ^^ lol.at the same time i see that the majority of the adult population do not show as much fondness to games as they used to when they were younger. i guess, as you get older, you tend to change your habits of playing games to other things like going out clubbing etc. but like i said people are different and so there are people out there like angeldust whom may continue gaming for a very long time. personally if i heard about a fifty-year old playing WoW,i'd be quite amazed and a little scary. =/

i think, i'll let go of games when i enter adulthood. there's so many other things you can do with your life and frankly i dont think ill get the time. **shrugs** just my opinion. i'd much rather choose to go nightclubbing than sitting in front of the computer playing rag or some other game for that reason =P

just adding my two cents =]

I don't think you can be too old to play games, it's just a form of entertainment. Obviously, most computer games are aimed at those around the ages of 12-18 because the gaming companies are just trying to sell their product. It's been mentioned before; it's down to the type of person you are and the experiences you've had gaming.

As for older people not having time - of course they do. Many of today's adults spend their time watching tv, personally I don't touch the tv unless it has my PS2 attached to it. As for what shaghai said about clubbing rather than gaming - I know a hell of a lot of people who are gamers who love to go out clubbing. Playing games is something you can do in your spare time to avoid being bored, clubbing has a similar purpose (but with more females :D). However, gaming is a lot less expensive than clubbing :P

Can you become too old to play games? Nope. Can you grow out of being a serious gamer? Indeed. 'Tis my view anyway.

No, but that's cos (s)he grew up in a generation and at a time where gaming as we know didn't exist. This new gaming with consoles and controllers just doesn't interest this generation (of course there are exceptions but I don't know any irl). WE on the other hand were born at a time when these things are reaching a global market. We have grown up with gaming that involves staring at colourful moving polygons insted of using imaginations (in some cases) and most of you probably couldn't imagine your lives without gaming and so WILL probably continue to gmae until you get arthritis in your wrists and you have to wait for gaming consoles that utilise the power of your minds (well, whatever remains of it by then after a lifetime of gaming anyway).

    So I vote: No.

Yep seems Ionic beat me to it. The main point I was gonna make is the generation differences. Older generations grew up watching TV and they still do it today. We grew up playing games and will probably do so for a long time.

    I voted "No". :D

Nope. My dad still plays (he's 46). He was the one that got me into them (Zelda, Mario, some atari games). Haven't played any recently with him but for a while we were playing some great Mario Kart races ;)

Your are never to old to play a game.
Well if you think about it, games are aimed for kids, yes i do agree but...Adults are the ones who can play them!
Kids: We got homework and studies to focus on.
Adults: You have work but most of the time you wont have to bring work home to complete. To wind down you'd have a coffee, tea, 3 hours of mu :P.
Kids: If we want a new game we ask our...Parents!
Adults: IF they want a game, "Just going out to pick up WoW" :bye1:
Kids: If we dont sleep on time our body get's really tired the next day. :dribble:
Adults: You can go to sleep at 3, go to work at 6 and sleep when you return. :disgust:
Kids: We get bored easily and aren't able to moderate our hours.
Adults: Can moderate their hours and come off when they went.
I know they're not alot of reasons but adults are the ones who will play more. :hockey2:
So who's in favour of being an adult?
