If you can... get an alovera(sp) plant. If you take a leaf of that and smear the insides of it on you your sun burn goes away faster. (Not to mention that it's very soothing on burnt skin.)
I avoid staying in the sunlight for long periods so I've hardly been sunburnt. The only time I have been burned was on the back of my neck when I was about 10 or 12. I'm still pretty dark by the end of summer tho even if I don't spend excessive amounts of time under the sun.
when i was in thailand i got the bastard of all sunburns
had like the entire day in the sun wearing only shorts, a few hours were also spent at sea either on a jetski or speedboat
the pain was incredible to say the least
Im fair brown from baby oil and the sun and going on sun bed :D I burnt abit.. but brown now so its all good!
i have only ever been sun burnt twice. once when i was little i was helping the person a few houses away cut down sum hedge thingy and i only hads shorts on lol it was a boiling day and i didnt have ne sun tan lotion... lets just say i couldnt lay down for a week lol, other time was on holiday with 1 of them fkin shelters with the lil holes in rofl yea u guessed it i fell asleep and thought i wud b ok cuz i had a towl ova me but i must ave got 2 hot in my sleep n kicked it off >_< when i woke up i was like a bloody cheese grater.. had loads of little tanned spots that looked like holes lol
Ouchies! but the worst was when I was like 10 and I was sitting on the sofa pulling all my flakey skin off my back eww... but a month ago when I was on holiday a girl came in this restaurant with huge bandages on her shoulders! and I put tons of lotion on ever since I seen that :D.Quote:

Unlucky Stri lol, being sunburnt is a right bastard, although I love getting a cold shower while sunburnt.
I never tan, I'm like Steely, the sun doesn't take kindly to my kind!
I got really sunburnt last monday and it really hurt for days. >.<
At least I'm not as white as a ghost as I usually am, which is a good thing.
One thing I defo hate is when it starts to peel off, it doesn't look very nice =/
