Ohh and i agree with whoever said about diffrent dialects, however in normal shops people generaly speak proper english.
Most of the world has a basic understanding of a few english words, like i've heard Japanese people use words like 'thanks'. But most jobs dont really need perfect English.

Did anyone else notice the title of this thread? It says, Bad English Speakers in the USA. Now I'm not sure how good you all are at English but that literally means. Bad English Speakers (As in the things on your stereo or computer) in the USA. So we're all off topic, he's obviously bought some dudd speakers and wants help getting a refund or something.

I understand elmarshal's point of view, I guess we could all be upset with the situation but its happening both ways. Im from Argentina, a lot of us go to U.S (Miami) or to European Countries to get work, I would never go to another country illegaly, thats for sure.
On the other hand in all spanish talking countries a lot of english stuff is talking over. Tons of words are now changed to the way US say them and I have to admit its getting pretty irritating, so I dont blame this people for being mad.
He expressed it with respect, maybe sometimes trying to make a point becames a racisct thought.
A lot of people are starting to complain agains chinese folks comming here (to Argentina) to place markets and stuff.
The problem is when they do what they do without following the same rules we all have to follow, that is what gets me on my nervs. I love the chinese dude that sells icecream really cheap 1 block away but I hate when I ask him something and he looks me like "Whaaaazaabii" but I still continue to buy him, he sells cheap.
You hate Mexicans and others but you still employ them cause they are cheap :/ (Just an example - Viva LatinoAmerica)

- Dutch
- German
- French
I am a Dutch spoken Belgian who has to learn Germand (already for 2 years) and French (already for 8 years) in school but the German Belgian's don't even learn Dutch and French in school and the French only learn Dutch and they suck like hell cuz they dun want to...
So you think that's fair? And still we learn English in school and now they are even thinking about making the Arabic language as a main one... Now who's talking about fair... :(

Do you think they will understand everything you say in english? English may be the main language but other still have problems with it, accept the fact cuz there will always be people like that :)
