>.< lol i was like that when i got my new pc, i had everything i needed and i put on all my music from other pc. Put some music on in winamp and nothing, until i realised i forgot 2 buy some speakers and we had nope spare in the house 'cept the ones on the other pc which my sister was using :)

been going thru my seemingly endless supply of headphones all day lol, only problem was they were all too short!
but finally problem sovled!
u know u can get those lil extension things where u can adjust the volume etc i plugged 2 of those 2gether then plugged my headphones into those :D
feels kinda odd O.o i think i prefer speakers i feel too disconnected from the world atm lol

I can kinda sympathise. When my cousin sold me his PC he "forgot" the wire that's needed to connect the speakers to PC. 1 month with no sound.
i blew a 20w sub once now I'm connected to my stereo system (with 4 50w woofers for bass)
I'm good, i got 2 big and old philips speakers, are about 25 years old i guess, but good quality, i got 2 sets of PC speakers, never use them but still, i got a 5.1 set of Creative and i got Sennheiser headphones (are really good and simple ones, not ones with those shit volume crap thingys which cause problems all the time, and that brand is very well known with headphones)
So basicly me being without sound is something that can't happen.
unless i touch your computer.... then that will break n u wont have sound :)
Actually i still would, i would still have a CD player then, and also a DVD, Playstation and a Dreamcast which can all play CD's, i also have a DCC recorder so i'm fine really, oh and not to mention the second computer i got.
lol - one time i remember my sound fucked up........ and this was when i used to play MuOnline GLOBAL..... and i had no sound so wen a jewel dropped i was really screwed -- lol -- and it was strange =/
i got kinda same creative set 5.1 and headphones usualy i use headphones to talk during cs playing or in Skype .. i was in Netherlands once at my friends place all in he got a lot computers dreamcasts play station 2 pc 2 of them some old nintendo also ^_^
i love those fridges at back yard full of ice-creams people ownz =D
