Ban On Homework?

Homework should be useful but I find them lame. I never do my homework at home unless it's a 5 pages essay at romanian. My grades are great, I learn at school, I listen to the teacher's exaplanations and I'm just fine. I don't care what they do since it's for primary years only and that does not affect me. Anyway I think they SHOULD have homework because that way the brain gets stimulated to THINK and not do some random stuff and some random game. Homework should not be someting that you HAVE to do but something you do. I think that if you get a test and you know teachers shouldn't be counting the fact that you don't do your homework BUT if you get a small grade and still do lots of exercised your grades should be raised.

Exactly the same here. And it works fine, I get average to high marks with doing nothing at home and doing 50% of time something on school (in the best case ^^).

As for homework in general, little kids should play on the streets but on the highschool you need disciplin, either with tests or homework.

I never did Primary School Homework. :), Doubt there's sanctions if you don't do it. Scrap it!

I do NOT think homework should be allowed in primary schools. Who needs to reinforce the ABC's?
In high school, it should be reduced significantly, just to reinforce studies.
In college, it should be twittled with to the right amount of learning about Law, Science, and on.

Primary: Always got them, never done them
Middle school: Always get them, almost always do them (in class that is)
So it shouldn't be considered as homework buut yeh.

I find that if I don't do my homework, I forget everything I've done on the specific lesson that day.

The only reason i hate homework is that when i do it at home i have so many distractions but at school thats all u have to do so u generally focus more.

It's been proven that homework does not help much.

Luckily, I don't get them. xD (Well, I do rarely but I don't do it and make an excuse for it all the time xD)

We must have it easy here. We have 8 periods a day and I never come home with homework. We either finish it in class or spend the whole next day working on it during class. Our high school is real leaniant about everything.

Homework wont get deleted :) it was the best thing about school.. no lil cunts to distract you in class

Keep Schoolwork at school tbh... Make it more interactive, rather than doing homework...going to school...handing it in...cheating on it...getting answers from all the wrong places...etc.
More school time should be based on group work. Enough with the lecture / homework / test / lecture / homework / test / exam, bullshit.

yer im 14 thoo when i was in primary skool i hated skool and home work so i never use to do it or go but now im 14 i regret it so much coz im stupid but yer they should keep home work =[[

I think they should severely reduce the amount of homework for Primary Schools and reduce it by quite a bit for High Schools.

Homework does amount pressure on people. If you were in your final year of senior/secodary school and you had to study every day for your final exams, then suddenly your English teacher gives you a 2000 word essay to be complete for the next week, then your Maths teacher gives you a whole page on complex sums to do, then your Physics teacher decides you should do an in-depth report on a difficult to understand Law of Physics. All to be done for that week or the next week, amongst studying for exams. I get a fair bit of homework and it really gets on my nerves. I have a big English essay due in for tomorrow but I managed to convince my teacher to let me it for Tuesday because I ain't got the right tools for the job.

So yeah, reduce homework, not ban it outright.

i suppose it should be stoped..then agian i didnt really remeber being "stressed" about homework when i was in primary school and stuff so.

I have always hated homework. I hope they do ban homework. cause I completely agree wit dem.
