okay, you know how if you blow over the rim of a bottle it vibrates and makes a noise? same principal.

wind blows over the hole, gets sucked in, spins around (because of the hole's shape) and eventually the spinning air in there spins the air above it, creating something similar to a cyclone. that sucks shit in that flys over it.

I would love to go see it. Would be awesome to see what it is like at the bottom of it.
