My point is, that since people think everything is going to be cheaper they buy more, when really only a couple items are chosen to be cheaper not everything like they thought. But, normally they wouldn't buy it because they know they wouldn't be able to afford it. Therefore, getting more people in debt, and as Moofin said most was done with credit. Meaning, that since they won't be able to pay it off then they'll get tons of interest on the credited money, and they won't be able to pay it back so the banks will lose money their on a lot of customers. Sure SOME of them will be able to pay it back but not all, and thats what got the our economy in trouble. The banks started lending money out to people who normally they wouldn't cause they have poor qualities in the three C's (don't feel like explaining the three c's of lending money now, look it up.) so 10 years after that started, now, the banks lost tons and tons of money, causing this whole panic.

bleh curse e-consumerism class =P making all this stuff worse to think about. Im all for awareness and everything just have to much over my head as is. And sorry for all that text, didn't mean for it to get big, just as I typed what I originally meant to, I had to type stuff to back that up -.-.

To put it simply, its the day after thanksgiving where its like one huge sale. Its sort of like when something new comes out and people line up to get it overnight, but on a much bigger scale. In fact, if you were to go to a big electronic store like Best buy, and were to get in the front of the line you could sell your spot for like $400+
