    Boxing

Been planning to take boxing for a little while now, and have been searching for local boxing clubs/classes to attend to.

A friend of mines in my weight training class took boxing for 5 years (since he was 12), and he's been telling me how beast it is, and how fit you stay, etc.

I was wondering if anyone here takes boxing/kickboxing classes, and if so, share your experience

    Re: Boxing

Boxers sure as hell stay in shape. I have 2 friends that have been taking boxing for a while now. 1 is 17 and the other is 15. 17 year old has been boxing for 7 years or something and the 15 year old has only been doing it for a month. Now I have heard from both of them that it is so much fun and they love it. Now personally I want to do it, but I think of it as just a how you are or if you really want to do this. So I say go for it

I do boxing twice a week with my mates soccer team, it's great but if you want to get the best out of it in terms of fitness you'll need another person who's at the same level as you are in my opinion.

The traditional equivalent of today's "Kickboxing". I did Muay Thai for about 8 years (had to quit about 5 years ago after 2 consecutive broken bones), and i'm pretty sure Lee does it also.
