maturity is something to discuss about, you gain that depending on your society, but if at home you see your parents act like crap, drink, curse and all, and if you hear it at an early age, you will most likely develop a non-inteligent vocabulary and you will become just like your parents.

if you come from an uneducated family, it's way more easier to do the bad things than to "fix" yourself to the opposite of your family. That's the genetical part
