    Re: Carebear online!

    Fine then.

Personally it looks and feels like wow with a skin, i already play wow so i have no intentions of paying for the same game. I also think the developers we're pretty bad at making this game since to me i looks like they haven't bothered to go into the history of the story and just make the game based on the book/movies alone. There was a time in the plot where elfs hated the humans to shit for example, but then again the carebear aspect comes in and there is not such thing here, would have been a good way to implement pvp.

Don't care if there is a patch coming to give birth to pvp but at this rate, i have wow. Why pay for 2 subscriptions.

The idea of Lord of the Rings online sounded good, they could have done so much with this game that it would wipe the floor of WoW but it looks like they just gave a half-ass attempt at everything, the quests.. "Bring X some Boar meat" (WoW?), the graphics are poor as hell, look at the quality/sharpness difference between the face and then the leggings. The durability(?) in the top right is an exact copy from Warcraft, just a bit bigger, the map looks like Guild Wars' one... The only thing that looks remotely decent is the scenery (In which Guild Wars still beats it), if they had actually put some effort into this game it might have been worth playing.

I'll go take a screenshot of Lion's Arch and compare it to Weathertop.
