American cars= Biggg cars with ownage n traditional motors. Usually gr8 HP - torque. Wen u talk about american cars u r referring to muscle cars (those nice V8 engines ^^ ) or those awesome trucks. Also u get wot u pay 4, just the motor...
European cars=Just the most advanced technologycally. Motors will b a dream 4 all those technology lovers. Benzin isnt so cheap like EEUU were the government uses his reserves 4 stop the price raising. So here u can easily c 4 or 5 in-line cylinders engines giving 200-300 HP (even tho they match HP with V6/V8, they dont give the same torque).
Equipment... equipment is everything to 1 european. Wen u go buy a top car like mercedes basic price doesnt include anything cose u have endless options to choose. Leather, aluminium, lights inside, gps, phone, Klima, wood, computer options, dvd, sound system, solar panel, sport/elegance equipments...
Japanese cars: cheap cars developing good HP/torque, cool sport look, equipments r usually more technologycally advanced than american cars but u can c a big diff with european cars. Engines usually use top turbos, intercoolers n filters, so they work under big pressures, giving them shorter life time.
Like everything, if money is not a problem u can get top models on all 3 kinds that will probly match the advantages u could find on the other cars (top chevrolets have v good equipments, BMW M3, M5 n M6 giving extraordinay HP, Nissan skyline, sylvia on japanese side...)
Personal choice: Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe, i know i wouldnt have enough money to pay 4 that 8.3 liters monster but u can face top ferraris n Porsche n still get advantage on Gs while its nearly 10 times cheaper.
Btw u cant really talk about Porsche GT, top ferraris, Mercedes SLR mclaren, (Aston Martin v12 Vanquish doesnt have a really good egine but its sooooooooo nice) cose u r talking about 300000-600000
