    Cloning a benifit?

Ok, here is a question. Do you think the cloning of humans will benifit the human race. If you ask me, i Say HELL NO 100X OVER!! What gives you the right to clone a being, kill it, and say its all over lol. Seriously, thats what they had in mind. Hey you need a new liver? For a small time fee, we will clone you and get you a brand new liver lol. See where this is going? Anyways, another bad thing is cloning an army. I can bet you that the north korean presiden or chinia, or somebody who wants world power will start cloning there own clone army lol. They could storm in massive ammounts just like Starwars. Hell, the world is going crazy right now. Japan now has the abiilty to control ppls movements through there brain. What kind of shit is that lol.

Post your opinions lol, not critizism. :smilie3:

There are three major problems with your theory.
    1. Cloning an army would require massive amounts of money. And although China grosses the second largest income in the world they don't have the resources. (Not like they need a clone army anyway.) And North Korea is not even in the top 10 countries in the national GPR. Plus if they tried anything the U.S. would cross the DMZ so fast and bomb the shit out of them so bad they wouldnt know what hit them.

    2. We haven't even began to skim the surface of cloning. I think the latest animal that was cloned was a dog. They aren't even in the same species as humans. (Different species mean dofferent DNA logistics.) So scientists aren't anywhere near cloning a human.

    3. By the time humanity does find a way to clone themselves moral values will have changed and a lot of people might think it would be a great idea.

Example: What if your child was hit by a drunk driver? Would you want him/her cloned then?

now there are problem with your theory. If my child was hit by a car, that would be my fault for being a bad father. I must take responsibilty of my younger ones life. 2) North korea can do crazy things, they have other communist countries (or maybe 1 lol) supporting them. 3) You have no right to mess with life
    4) Human technology is going at a extremly fast rate. Every 5 years technology changes.
    5) They have already been able to transfer somebody elses face with another.
    6) Alot of ppl well do crazy things. Hey my wife was killed, good thing i still have her DNA. Ok CLone her please lol

This was not meant to be mean toward you, but im just saying, Cloning HUMANS IS BAD!!! LOL. Chickens is worse cause they will crap everywhere lol :icon6:

Ok. So because your child was hit by a drunk driver that makes it your fault? There's something wrong with you. I'd find whoever killed my kid and I'd beat the shit outta him with a baseball bat. And in the next 5 years, I seriously doubt we will be able to clone a human being. And why is cloning humans a bad thing? Technology is only evil as the person who uses it is. Take dynamite for example. Alfred Noble invented dynamite! The guy who made the "Noble Peace Prize" invented an explosive that was supposed to be used to help coal miners dig tunnels faster. But evil people used it for evil intentions.

Lol I agree with that.. Imagine in the future your child dies, and someone comes and sais he can clone him back to life... You have 2 options:

    A) I Accept responsability and I never want to see my child ever again, because its my fault.
    B) The hell with responsability! He's my child! MAKE HIM LIVE AGAIN!

I think the choice is obvious...

So basically, in a perfect world without evil, and world peace, cloning would be a great idea.

But for a world like ours, cloning would always lead to disaster

lol forget about the child thing, i didnt mean it as if i were with him. If he was by himself and hit by a car, if he was hit by a car cause he was stupid, then thats a different story. If he was hit for no apparent reason, of course im gonna kill that bastard lol. But just like what Rsx said, our world is corrupted. Cloning with be good the first few years, then ppl will abuse it to see how far it could go lol. If they break down the DNA, they can make mutants lol (Thats bad)

You don't need to clone an entire human being to get one organ. Technology will reach a point where they can just be grown using cells from the person that needs it and stem cells from (the controversial bit-->) aborted foetuses. But that's far away from now.

I'm probably wrong on something above. Feel free to correct me.

I believe that this is one of those things which would be great for science, but disastrous for humanity.
Unless we somehow manage to develop ourselves into perfectly friendly beings. Which is never ever gonna happen, unless they discover what part of our brain makes us violent, and simply force deactivation of it for the whole world.

I'm all for cloning 100%. It's definately not a bad thing. Just don't clone humans. Say if a farmer has a animal that's producing something real good. Like cow...milk. Perhaps he'd like to clone that cow several times.

Holy shit. Cough cough* Ignorance* cough cough. For your information. Scientists have already cloned SEVERAL types of animals.

Anyways i think cloning can help mankind in many ways. (Cloning almost exstinct animals for one) But like i previously said. As long as there's no human cloning. It's cool. :)

Ok, I know scientists have cloned other animals you fucking idiot. If your going to mock me make sure you read what I post. I said the "latest" which would mean the most advanced and most recent. READ POST BEFORE YOU QUOTE ME.

And true, in today's society humanity would most likely abuse the ability to clone. I'm just saying that you can't take this as a laughing matter like necron.

if Im correct ya cant clone stuff from bones...
however they do seem to have somehow preserved cells of certain species of dinosaurs yes...
so in the future some guy with a lot of money might decide Jurassic Park is a good idea o.0
