I've never had a virus thru mIRC, just don't click any of the links given 2 u by total strangers. Seen as this is a completely different server I do not thing this will happen, however on quakenet or similar if u enter some channels u will be pmed buy bots with links to virii. Anyways, if ur really wanna be secure from virii I suggest u unplug ur modem :p

if u get virus that means ur clicking many links or accepting the files people sending or u clicking too many links
Actually that's not true, there are virusses/trojans that will infect your computer, my brother keep getting it on the network he used to chat, still as this is a small network i doubt it will happen, still only 1 person have to be infected and then many will.

bah I really don't do chat rooms.. or instant messengers.. or email... im more of a forum person.. but when I have gone on, just like Silveron said, no one talks :p
