Ever since this section has been opened, people like domo and ihatehaxor, and probably more are taking advantage of it and posting "welcome" in every single fuckin thread.
What I suggest is to make it either topic only (no posting on peoples topics allowed) or make it not count towards your post count.

It's in the rules, and they are getting infracted for it....Trust me.
Now making it a no post count, would be a great idea.
I expect it to be 0 post count within a day or two.
You have no idea how many infractions I've been handing out in the Entertainment section. Within a few weeks I doubt you'll be seeing many of those.
Why do post counts matter so much...it's a forum for a reason...
Who cares weather or not it counts. The only way people should be infracted is if they constantly spam the same shit over and over again.
If a person takes the time to read a topic, and then respond meaningfully it should be ok, no matter the amount of times, or the place.
On the other hand...mods should just continue to infract people who do those 1 liners, or just say "haha"...like stated above, and if anything...make it public within the post.

The introduction is the first post most people ever have on ragezone, so just let it count, and responses are always nice...because it shows that the community is friendly if anything...a few people even recognize the welcomes, and although small...it probably means something to them.
Because by having post counts in that section, it is encouraging the people who do care about it to post, and it gives them a reason and a place to spam.
Ok, so as long as it's meaningful who cares, it's only better for the forum and the members.
If it isn't...get more mods for it, or active ones...and hand out more infractions to the ones that do spam.
As opposed to constantly turning sections into no-post count zones...you'll still get the spam, it just won't count as post counts.
And then the next section would probably be entertainment, followed by the portfolio section, etc, etc...what's the point?
Just encourage meaningful posting, and infract spam / bullshit...via active mods.

The introduction section also gives 'newbies' the idea that they can post whatever they want in outerworld (Realise the amount of spam in there lately?)
Post count should be disabled altogether imo but doubt thats gonna happen

mind your own business and let the mods take care of spam. post count doesn't matter anyway. well, it seems it actually does seeing as how so many people cry when someone spams for their post count.
