Crazy Idea!

I'm thinking of trying to skate 40 miles =D
The basic cause behind this is because I want to say I've done it.

Who thinks Wh005h can skate 40miles in under 10 hours? That would mean I average 4 mph without breaks. FYI, 4mph is easy on skates you're basically walking then. I would guess that I average about 7mph with a few stops all evening out for me to do about 4mph non-stop.

This is avoiding interstates/highways so it's the shortest of the longest routes lol. I wish I could video it but I have no camera =/

Yay for living in Texas! Everyday is 100F+
Lets not forget Wh005h's burned feet lol. Each of my toes has a blister on it and I have 3 blisters extra per foot aside from my toes haha

RAWR!~ I'm gonna pack some water and I think I'm gonna try it. You guys think 2 gallons will be enough water? I already have a change of wheels so that's good. I can always start walking too ^_^

OMG! I have an idea =D I think I might ask random people to photo me and send it to my friend so I have some documentation

Sounds like a good idea, remember to take sun tan lotion, water, a 'cell' phone and a map. Might wanna chat with Exe with what to eat during the 10 hour skate too, I was gonna advise you but then realised I know shit all about diets.

Oh wow... I pissed someone off with this idea... I told 'er I wanted to talk about some serious stuff (she knows what it is) and that I might be walking to get out of my house. She then proceeded to yell at me for thinking up such a stupid idea lol. Huh... totally the last thing I wanted to do

I just want to be able to say I did it, prove a point, and not be here in Frisco >.> Doh... and the likeliness that I wuss out is pretty high too lol

Well guess I'll postpone the idea till later... She seemed pretty serious about it too. So, I'm just going to drive down, essentially stealing my parent's car, then telling them I'm staying down there. The reasons behind all this would seem pretty childish so I'll leave it at that lol

go for it man! i once used my bike to get to my cousins place. it's over 100km distance and i made it... it was quite a long time ago, though. i remember that i've felt asleep after that for 12 hours :) i took a backpack with water and some food with me, also my friend had his car prepared in case of emergency. must say it was fun and i proved it to myself that i can do it :)
