Seriously though, i don't do it, just not in me, still i wouldn't go saying it's the most stupid thing ever or something like that, a big part of sex is called foreplay, now a lot of foreplay is done verbally (foreplay is a lot more then trying to hump the opposit sex 3 minutes before you actually have it), in a way this is also that, people tell what they will do to each other to try and excite each other, ofcourse instead of having actual physical sex with each other they will be using their hand, or toy to finish it off, but wether you do this foreplay through text messages or verbally doesn't matter, plenty of people these days send "dirty" emails/messages hours before they come home from work or anything to build up a certain sexual feeling for when they come home.
Now i'm betting most of you wouldn't find it completely stupid then, and in a way this is the same.

It's a little amusing how some people are forced to turn this into a conversation about whether someone has a life or not. We've all come this far already so I'd assume we do, to some extent, and let's just be happy about it and let everyone else mind their own.
I've cybered a couple of times. Don't think I was getting off while doing it (perhaps afterwards, don't remember nor does it matter), but it was rather exciting. A few of the times I remember weren't directly sexual, rather romantic. Like someone mentioned before, it's pretty much like reading a good book, with the difference you get to take part in the story more.
Now, I have a great imagination (sometimes too much so :D) and usually this alone is enough, but at times it's wonderful to share your imagination/fantasy with someone else. Have a go at creating a world where you're not bound to the rules normally limiting you. But does a world you totally control excite you? Perhaps for a while, but being a god gets boring fast, and picking a partner to paint the sky for you adds a certain level of reality.
Well I don't often find myself in lack of a way to explain myself, but now I do. Perhaps this is too much about personal feelings to efficiently define as something good/bad, so let's have everyone make up their own mind about it. In the very least I can say that I don't see "cyber" as anything else than something in between chatting about casual things and letting your imagination loose after seeing a picture or maybe a movie scene that turned you on. To put this all together:
