Here go the two good parts of the film, in my opinion, the only two good parts of it.

So not to (possibly) spoil anything for Mr. FragFrog, highlight to read this post:

I liked it. Okay. So I didn't laugh throughout the entire movie, but to be fair nowadays I could sit through a regular episode of The Simpsons and do no more than smile. This film had the potential to be the second most disappointing thing this summer (after the rain in July in the UK anyway), but it wasn't. Matt Groening and co did good.

Did anyone sit through the credits? Maggie says her second word: "Sequel". (Her first word was "Daddy" in some episode I forget which).

One bit I remember liking was when Homer & Bart are on the bike flying over that gorge. When they land there's an old rusted crashed ambulance in front of a tree. That's the same ambulance from the episode where Homer tries to jump the gorge on Bart's skateboard. You'll only notice if you're paying attention. :nerd:

Looking back I was disappointed by the lack of appearance from the aliens Kudos & Kang (I think that's their names). Oh! And Lionel Hutz. Didn't see him either. Anyone?

Other bits still fresh in mind are:

    1) *Homer flicks through Bible*
Homer: "There's no answers in here!"

    2) President: "I am here to lead, not read."

    3) Marge (speaking to Lisa): "You're a woman. You can hold hate in forever."

    4) The bit with Lisa's perfect moment with Colin at the dome.

    5) Oh! & the bomb disposal robot! Haha!

Mind you. I may be thinking more highly of The Simpsons Movie because I saw it on the same day as Rush Hour 3 which was "meh" for the most part.

The best part on there for me is when Homer jumped into the sand-box fingering everyone.
