What's fucked up, I read that the guy browsed a lot in 9gag, so posted saying he was gonna do this shit, and people encouraged him lol. This world we live in keeps getting more fucked up as we progressed.
Tragic event. A 3 month old baby got shot... Whoever did this deserves the death penalty.

This is starting to make me feel ashamed of being American. Apparently we can't go watch a movie without having bullet proof vests on. I always thought going to a Movie was for pure entertainment but apparently you have to watch your back when watching a movie otherwise you'd get shot dead.
I guess there's two sides of the case if Americans should have guns or not.

Tragic, but I believe this was staged (not 100% sure, but this stuff is easy to setup). The timing of such a horrifying event is too good for it to be a coincidence. The UN is pushing a gun ban treaty that only needs a few senators to agree on, and Obama is already ready to approve of it.
Next you will have the TSA groping you and your family at cinema theatre entrances. They already have checkpoints on the roads, VIPR teams out in the streets away from airports.
Remember, guns aren't the problem when it comes to crime. People are, usually either criminals (wether its government or gangster/mafia) and psychos, mentally deranged people. Criminals CAN get guns illegally from the black market and such. Governments have guns. You want to be a citizien, you should own a gun. Otherwise you're no citizien, just a subject. And a rather defenceless slave, if I may add.

Your theory makes since, however unlikely. The US has done a lot of shady shit and thrown away a lot of peoples' lives in the past and I wouldn't be shocked for a second if those claims were proven true, although I don't believe thats what it was.
The sad thing is, he entered through the emergency exit, and threw in a smoke grenade. While it was going off, he started firing. The spectators thought it was somehow part of the movie, so they were obviously calmly watching it until they realized he was actually firing.
At least according to a few news articles.

I would find it ironic if he is confirmed to be a psychopath and was allowed to enter an advanced program about neuroscience without them even knowing it. Nothing wrong about a psychopath being there but it is a tremendous error if they knew he was one but was not monitored.

Shit was smart, apparently had a timed bomb set to go off right before he started the shooting so the police in the area would be at his apartment instead of the theater. The whole thing is fucked up but it would have been a perfectly planned crime if he got away.
I can not believe someone would do this, is this really the world we are living in today were you cant even watch a movie.
Anyway my heart goes out to all the victims and friends and family who were affected by this.

I feel sorry for the crowd who though it was a trick... RIP the people who died, How can people actually kill another person, It gets to me how they can shoot someone.
I say we should be allow to buy small gun(handgun, revolver), but big gun shouldn't be allow for the common citizen. That would help prevent all these shooting and lower casualty if it do occur.
